Library Notice

This is a reminder that all library items borrowed MUST be returned by Friday, June 19 - NO exceptions - as the library requires all resources for transport to our brand new library facility at the Renfrew Campus. This new library will be bigger and better and we can't wait for you to see this great new space!

Expect to see a wealth of new books come the following quarters, 2 group study rooms, 9 computers, and plenty more study space for you and your friends to use.

Please contact the library at aivlibrary@aii.edu or call 604-683-9200, ext. 3425 if you have any questions or concerns. The library apologizes in advance for any closures or disruptions in service that may occur during this week (June 15-19) as we prepare to move.

Ai Screens Event

Twenty six students attended the first ever 'Ai Screens' event, organized by Academic Director, Terri-Anne Wilson.

Special thanks to the Student Success Committee, specifically Ben Coulas, for donating the award plaque for the event. The students really appreciated it.

The winner of the Audience Choice award was "Loving Lionel".

Special Citations were given for two other projects: "To Kill The Indian in the Child" and "Contents May Explode". (Special mention also included a gift card for subway).

Thank you to Jamie Poh who took a photo of the winners.

The turnout was great, especially considering how swamped everyone is with their end of Q projects.

Another 'Ai Screens' event will be coming your way next quarter.

Zombie Awareness Week

Thank you to the students who partook in Zombie Awareness Week. Colston, the event organizer, helped to raise $24 dollars for the BC Cancer Research Society through the sales of zombie awareness ribbons.

The image displayed is from the Zombie Walk. Several Burnaby students participated in the walk in support of Zombie Awareness Week.
